Masters of Architecture! I’ve never worked so hard for anything in my life.
Terrible picture, but hey, I don’t think I’ve ever posted a picture of myself before anyways. Thanks for listening to my late night rants Oppo, ya’ll are a part of this in your own special way!
(I’m headed to my graduation party with family, so I probably won’t respond to anything until later.)

It took me a few days to realize what had actually happened.

I’m still finishing up construction on our studio project for the next month and a half, so not really.

I haven’t seen either yet, although one of my final papers was on the Johnson Wax building and Herbert Johnson.

Keep chipping, it gets both easier and harder as you go.

Far from it, but I’m proficient enough to enter the field.

I hope so, but that only comes after I get licensed.

No,
But is that KSU’s mascot
![]() 05/15/2016 at 16:53 |

No, Wildcats. The Jayhawks are KU.
Literally the exact joke said at our graduation ceremony.

As Dirty Harry said, “A man’s got to know his limitations.”
![]() 05/15/2016 at 20:31 |

I don’t consider them limitations, rather I like to think of them as opportunities.

I’m just beginning to look into an M.Arch, anything I should know looking for schools or programs? Was it worth it in the end? That's the largest thing I'm looking at now, I don't have any debt right now and this kinda degree would definitely put me there.

There are plenty of good state schools out there that are reasonably affordable, I’d just look for one with a decent masters program.
As for “is it worth it?”, straight out of school I got an offer and moved to Wichita, Kansas. I started at $42k salary and 4 years later I’m up to $52k a year, which is pretty decent for the area. It’s a stressful job (I’m trying to get a project out right now actually), and is only worth it if you really love it.
Here’s a salary calculator, but be warned, it’s somewhat... optimistic.
